Celebrate Pollinator Week with a Community BioBlitz!
Pollinator Week is just around the corner, and we’re kicking things off with one of our favorite community science traditions: a Pollinator Week BioBlitz! This year, our iNaturalist-powered event will run throughout the week and culminate in an exciting Festival BioBlitz on Saturday, June 21st at Marshall Park, during the 2nd Annual Pollinator Festival in Vancouver, WA.
🔍 What’s a BioBlitz?
A BioBlitz is a fun and interactive way to connect with nature while documenting the plants, insects, birds, fungi, and other organisms around us. Using the iNaturalist app, participants can contribute real data to help track local biodiversity and support conservation efforts. You don’t need to be an expert—just bring your curiosity and your phone!
🗓️ Pollinator Week BioBlitz Details
Our official iNaturalist project is live now! You can start making observations anytime during Pollinator Week (June 16–22) and especially during the Festival BioBlitz on June 21. We'll be out exploring the meadows, gardens, and wooded edges of Marshall Park, looking for native bees, butterflies, birds, and more.
