Resilience Rising: Climate & Community in Fourth Plain

🌱 Resilience Rising: Climate & Community in Fourth Plain
📅 Tuesday, June 10, 2025
🕓 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Fruit Valley Elementary School

Join us for the first event in the Resilience Rising series—an engaging, family-friendly gathering focused on building climate resilience in the Fourth Plain neighborhood and beyond. Co-created by the City of Vancouver, Fourth Plain Forward, Washington Conservation Action, and the Southwest Washington Equity Coalition, this event is all about coming together to learn, share, and prepare for a more resilient future.

✅ Learn about the City’s climate vulnerability assessment and how extreme heat, wildfire smoke, flooding, and air quality challenges are already affecting the Fourth Plain Corridor
✅ Hear from guest speakers on local food systems, ecosystems, and community placemaking
✅ Take part in small-group conversations about resources you rely on, how we can support each other, and ways to build a neighborhood climate resilience network
✅ Enjoy free food and fun, hands-on activities for all ages
✅ Connect with neighbors through a networking session and sign up to stay in touch

Whether you're just starting to learn about climate impacts or are ready to dive into community action, Resilience Rising is your chance to be part of the solution.

🎉 All ages welcome! Free to attend.
