Meadow Mastery: Identifying Weeds, Bees, and Native Plants for a Thriving Landscape

Meadow Mastery: Identifying Weeds, Bees, and Native Plants for a Thriving Landscape

Join the Vancouver Bee Project and the Water Resources Education Center staff for an engaging hands-on workshop to support pollinators and promote a thriving landscape! Together, we’ll nurture the Center’s newly planted pollinator meadows by learning the basics of meadowscaping and removing common weedy species that compete with native plants.

Following the meadow work, enjoy a guided tour of the Center’s certified backyard habitat gardens and riparian zone. You’ll discover how to identify key native plant species that play a crucial role in supporting pollinators and creating resilient ecosystems in our region.
