Love Your Mason Bees Workshop

Love Your Mason Bees Volunteer Workshop

Show some love to one of our hardest-working native pollinators this Valentine’s season! Join the Vancouver Bee Project for Love Your Mason Bees, a hands-on volunteer workshop focused on supporting mason bees, some of the earliest and most important spring pollinators in our region.

This all-ages, outdoor volunteer workshop will take place rain or shine at the Water Resources Education Center. Participants will learn how to create and care for pollinator habitat by working directly in the Center’s Backyard Habitat Certified Garden. Activities will include planting early-blooming native plants, light pruning, hanging mason bee houses, and a guided native plant walk highlighting species that support early-emerging bees.

No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty. If you have garden gloves, please bring them; extras will be available to borrow.
